    1. Hi Paul

Thank you for getting in touch! Yes there is an option to book for a single passenger and a motorcycle (and you are correct, this will undoubtedly change the price). To see this: Click on the purple box “Get a quote”. This will direct you to all the booking options for this trip. Simply select “1” for the number of passengers. Under “How you are travelling” change car to motorcycle from he drop down menu. Then select you Departure and Return Dates. Click “Book Now”. This will give you your desired price. I hope this helps.

    1. Hi Sandra

Thank you for getting in contact with us today. Unfortunately there are no tea/coffee making facilities located within the cabins. These are found on the main deck areas. With regards to check in time for cars, this will depend on the route that you are travelling on. If you are going between the UK and Ireland, you have to check in at least 30 minutes before departure. If you are travelling between the Ireland and France, you have to check in at least 60 minutes before departure. I hope this helps!

  2. Do I need a pet passport for my dog travelling from Holyhead to Dublin and back? I am rather confused as we don’t have rabies in either country. We live in the UK!!

    regards

    Tina Mistry

    1. Hi Tina, Yes you will require a pet passport on this route.

You need a pet passport for your dog, cat or ferret if they’ll be travel-ling:
      • to the UK from an EU country, or another country the UK accepts pet passports from
      • from the UK to a listed or unlisted country and then returning to the UK – you cannot do this after your pet’s rabies vaccination has ex-pired
From 1 January 2021, the rules for travelling to EU countries with your pet will change. You should start the process at least 4 months before you travel.
If they’re coming from a listed or unlisted country, you need a third-country official veterinary certificate if they do not have a pet passport.
You must bring originals of all your pet’s documents, not photocopies.

      Hope this helps!

Unfortunately not. All tickets must be purchased prior to travelling. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

    1. You will need to check with the ferry company you choose to travel with on their exact policy. But in general British or Irish citizens travelling on the Irish Sea routes do not need a passport to travel to Britain or Ireland but are advised to take a form of identity. A driving licence, citizenship card or utility bill will usually suffice. A birth certificate will usually provide adequate proof of identity for your children.

    1. Your dogs can be booked into the onboard Kennels or remain in your car. They are not allowed on any of the passenger decks.

    1. You can usually book 12 months in advance. Irish ferries are currently taking bookings up to December 2014 at the moment.
