  1. Need to pick a car up from Cork and bring to England. The car will be on a trailer what is the cheapest way to get it back in England please.

    1. Hi Ian

This will depend on a few factors. Firstly where abouts in England are you travelling to? If you are in the south I’d suggest taking the Rosslare to Fishguard route. Driving through Wales then into England. If your final destination is closer to the North of England, then we would suggest the Dublin to Liverpool Route.

If you are flexible with dates and times, this can help to reduce the cost as well. Travelling mid week is usually cheaper than at the weekends. Travelling out with school holidays, will also reduce the price too. Try changing the time of the ferry as well, off peak times are usually less busier so could work out cheaper. Why not check out our handy guide “How to get the cheapest ferry prices“, for more hints and tips. I hope this helps.

      1. Hi Deborah

Thank you for getting in touch. Sailing from Liverpool, you have two options to get to Ireland. You can sail with P&O Ferries to Dublin. Or you can sail with Stena Line to Belfast. Both allow motorhomes of >7.5m onto the ferry. Simply select which operator you wish to travel with and click on the purple “Get A Quote” button, to start your quote. I hope this helps.

    1. Hi Ben

Thank you for getting in touch. Unfortunately we here at Ferryto.eu are unsure of the rules regarding Rabbits travelling on a ferry. We can only suggest you contact the operators directly to find out what they advise. Stena Line – 03447 707 070. P&O Ferries – 01304 44 88 88. I am sorry we cannot be of more help.

    1. Hi Wayne

Thank you for getting in touch. Travel to Ireland with a horse in a horsebox is permitted, but unfortunately it cannot be booked online. You will have to speak to P&O Ferries (Telephone: 01304 86300) or Stena Line Freight (Telephone: 0845 070 4000) directly. Please note, there are different rules between Ireland and Britain for horse travel so both will have to be adhered too. For example, vehicle length and usage. Another thing to be wary of is weather conditions on the day of sailing. If sea conditions have been ruled unacceptable for horses you will be declined travel and your booking will either be rescheduled or refunded. Sorry we cannot be of more help.

    1. Hi Angela

Thank you for getting in touch. Unfortunately to answer your question I would need more information from you, for example when are you looking to travel? If you get back in touch I will help as much as I can. Here is a link to our Liverpool to Dublin route, you can also get quotes from here. I hope this helps.

  2. Why do I need to moderate my question, it is quite simple, why is there no price for a car and two persons. B Mc

    1. Hi Bernard

Thanks for getting in touch with us. We moderate all the questions put forward onto the site. This is to stop unsolicited and inappropriate material being displaced on our site. (Believe me, you would be horrified at some of the links people have tried to post up).

To get an exact price for a car and two, just select the “Get A Quote” button and fill in your details. I hope this helps.
