Felixstowe to Holland

Ferry from Felixstowe to Holland

Many travellers look for a ferry from Felixstowe to Holland, assuming there’s a direct service between the Suffolk coast and the Netherlands.

However, no passenger ferries currently operate between Felixstowe and any Dutch port. While Felixstowe is a major commercial shipping terminal, it handles freight only and doesn’t offer services for cars or foot passengers.

The good news is there’s a simple and convenient alternative just a short drive away. You can travel from Felixstowe to Harwich, a journey of around 60 minutes by car. From Harwich, Stena Line operates a regular passenger ferry service to the Hook of Holland, offering both day and overnight sailings. The ferries are well-equipped for both vehicles and foot passengers, with modern onboard facilities to make the crossing comfortable and stress-free.
