Hi Skye
Thank you for getting in touch. To complete the booking as a foot passenger:
1) Select the purple “Get a Quote” button beside the Belfast to Cairnryan route.
2) On the next screen (Stena Line website), on the RHS under the map, select the route (Belfast to Cairnryan). Choose your Outward Date and Return Date. Click Search Trip.
3) This next screen allows you to complete passenger and vehicle information. Under passengers – select the number of passengers. Under Select mode of transport (How are you travelling) – select on foot with no vehicle. Click continue.
4) follow through the next few slides picking times, suites and lounges, and any extras.
I hope this helps.
Hi, Do I need a passport or will my driving license be ok?
Hi Caroline
If you are a British / Irish citizen, you do not need a valid passport. However, you will need to bring a form of identification with you. Acceptable forms of ID include:
– A valid passport.
– photographic driving license.
– International Student Card.
– government issued photo ID card.
– health insurance/social security photographic card.
– photographic bus/train pass.
– EU Citizen Identity Card will usually suffice.
We have a handy guide called “Passports and Identification” which has more information. I hope this helps.
