Car & 4 passengers from £253
2 sailings per day       Sailing time: 3hr 30m
Car & 4 passengers from £255
2 sailings per day       Sailing time: 4 hours

With Stena Line and Irish Ferries offering a very similar service on ferries to Rosslare at an identical price, you may find it hard to choose between the two. Both offer 2 sailings per day from the UK to Rosslare and they even leave at pretty much the same time. The only difference on paper is the sailing time with Stena Lines Fishguard to Rosslare route 30 minutes shorter.

Both the ports of Pembroke and Fishguard are in Pembrokeshire and just 25 miles apart, so unless you live really close to one of these ports there is’nt really much advantage from one or the other, for example if you were travelling from Birmingham you would only save 15 minutes from sailing from Pembroke over Fishguard.

Whatever your reason for sailing to Rosslare, whether it be the start of a great family holiday in Ireland or even if you are just commuting home, both Irish Ferries and Stena Line offer you a great on-board experience with restaurants, cafes, shops and even entertainment for the kids.

Situated in County Wexford, Rosslare is a lovely pleasant seaside resort which boasts a most attractive Blue Flag beach, journey further down the coast and you will find more post card beaches. The ferry terminal at Rosslare Harbour is Ireland’s second largest passenger port.

  1. I’ve been trying to book a day trip from Rosslare to Wales but it will not allow me to put in my date of birth on the website portal. Could I go to the Ferry Port a few weeks in advance of the proposed trip and do it from there?.

  2. shame you cannot give more of a selection on size on motorhomes, hence you lose out on a booking

    1. Hi Ray

I am sorry we have lost out on your booking. Unfortunately we here at Ferry To Europe do not dictate the sizes on motor home selections. These are guidelines set out by the ferry operators. If you want to contact us with the size of your vehicle we would be happy to provide you with some guidance.

    1. Hi John

Thanks for getting in touch. Just under where you input the passenger, date and car details, there is an option called “Different passengers or vehicles out/return”, select this and fill in your details. I hope this helps.
