Getting to the Port

Drivers must come down to the car deck (when called) to remove their vehicle from the ship. Foot passengers are welcome to stay onboard until 08:00 and leave by the passenger walkway.
Drivers wishing to return to the ship after moving their vehicles, can park in a designated Breakfast Parking area in lane 10. Drivers should then go back into the passenger terminal, through the walkway and show their boarding card to security staff.

There is a bus stop just outside the Aberdeen Ferry Terminal for the daily 727 Jet Bus service to Aberdeen Airport. The 727 Jet Bus service also operates from nearby Union Square. For times and more details please visit the Stagecoach website.

Aberdeen Railway Station is located less than one mile from Aberdeen Ferry Terminal. There are regular services to/from Inverness, Edinburgh and Glasgow with onward connections. Train services are operated by ScotRail, East Coast and CrossCountry.

Aberdeen Airport is located 7 miles from Aberdeen Ferry Terminal. Several airlines provide regular services to/from major British and European cities.

Parking Information

Commercial Quay parking (72hrs max stay) is operated by Aberdeen Harbour Board. Union Square is a 3 minute walk away with parking for standard size vehicles. Parking for longer vehicles is available at Aberdeen Beach Boulevard and Esplanade.
