Gothenburg Ferry Port Information (Stena Line)

Stena Line has two terminals in Gothenburg, one heading to Frederikshavn, Denmark and this terminal for travellers heading to Kiel, Germany. The Germany terminal is further west on the Göta River close to the Älvsborgsbron bridge. The terminal is well signposted from the E6 and can also be reached by tram.

Drive on the E6 highway from the north to Malmö and then take the Frederikshavn exit after Tingstadstunneln. Follow signs with the large ferry symbol and continue to Frölunda Centre (South) driving through the Göta Tunnel (E45). You should then follow signs for Kiel, Klippan, Mariaplan and turn right onto Jaegerdorff.

If you are driving from the South on the E6 highway, you should take the exit towards Gårda South, Orgryte and then follow the signs with the ferry symbol.

Car Parking

You’ll find car parking spaces directly outside the main Stena Line Ferry Terminal. Please Note that the car park is liable to flooding during bad weather so parking is at your own risk.
