Getting to the Port

Please note: as the terminal is still a relatively new facility, some satnavs may not recognise the above postcode. Please use L3 0AY – this will take you to Jesse Hartley Way. From there, follow the road around to the left and at the roundabout, proceed to the terminal.

A bus service provided by Liverpool City Council serves the IOMSPC sailings to and from the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal. The bus starts at Skelhorne Street, stopping at the Lime Street Station, Liverpool One Bus Station, and then IOM Ferry Terminal. The service begins 2 hours before sailing departure time and completes 2 full laps of the route before waiting at the Terminal. Once all foot passengers have disembarked, the bus will depart again. £2 charge, payable when getting onto the bus (Liverpool City Region flat rate). The service is not pre-bookable. Pick-up and drop-off is outside the terminal main entrance.

Taxis can be pre-booked through various taxi companies around Liverpool Terminal. These are a few that operate within Liverpool: Delta Taxis – 0151 924 7373 Alpha Taxis – 0151 722 8888 One Call Taxis – 0151 928 3535 Alternatively, if you have the ‘Uber’ app downloaded, this can be used to get an Uber from the Terminal to your destination.

Liverpool Lime Street is the closest National Rail train station and is approximately a 30 minute walk from Liverpool Port. Mersey Rail provide train services from Moorfields and James Street to Lime Street. We advise all passengers to visit the National Rail website for the latest timetables.
