Looking for a ferry from Rosslare to Holyhead? You’re not alone, this route is commonly searched, but unfortunately, no direct ferry operates between these two ports.

While both are major terminals on either side of the Irish Sea. There has never been a direct Rosslare to Holyhead sailing. That said, there are two simple and reliable ways to make this journey.

The first is to take the regular ferry from Rosslare to Fishguard, operated by Stena Line. This service runs twice daily and is suitable for both foot passengers and vehicles. Once you arrive in Fishguard, you can drive north through scenic Wales to reach Holyhead. The journey takes around 4 hours and is well connected by major roads.

The drive from Rosslare to Dublin takes approximately 2.5 hours via the N11 and M11 motorways, making this a practical choice for many travellers.
