However, the dedicated passenger service from Hull to Amsterdam has now been discontinued. Only freight services continue to operate on this route, leaving many regular passengers seeking alternatives.

While the direct Hull to Amsterdam ferry is no longer available for passengers, several easy options remain for reaching the Dutch capital. The most convenient alternative is the Hull to Rotterdam ferry, which continues to run daily. Although the ship docks in Europoort, just outside Rotterdam, the drive to Amsterdam takes less than 90 minutes, making it a straightforward option for motorists.
