The ferry from Harwich to the Hook of Holland is the shortest sailing to Holland from the UK. It offers you the only day service (not an overnight crossing) to Holland from the UK.
The last Harwich ferry to close was the DFDS Seaways ferry to Esbjerg in Denmark. It was the only UK to Denmark passenger ferry in operation. In fact was the only UK to Scandinavia passenger ferry. It’s closure means that there is now no passenger ferry connection between the UK and Scandinavia.
