Ferries from Ireland to England
There is now just one ferry route from anywhere in Ireland to England. Stena Line have two daily sailings from Belfast to Liverpool in England. Unfortunately, as of December 2023, P&O Ferries no longer operate the Liverpool to Dublin ferry route. This means there are now no connections between Republic of Ireland and England. For sailings between to the UK and the Republic, you’ll have to go via Wales.
Northern Ireland to England Ferries
The Stena Line Liverpool to Belfast ferry service offers a direct link from the heart of England to Northern Ireland on their two cruise ferries the Stena Lagan and the Stena Mersey. The crossing time is approximately 8 hours with a choice of both day and overnight sailings.
If you are looking to sail from Ireland, then your only option is one of the four ferries going from Dublin or Rosslare to Wales.
There are also some options from Northern Ireland ferries to Scotland as an alternative.

Hi Colin,
May we suggest travelling from Dungannon to Belfast, then sailing from Belfast to Liverpool with Stena Line. I’ve linked the post, so once you open it, you can click on the purple “Get a quote button” to see all the dates of travel and prices. I hope this helps.
