Please note: Dogs cannot be accommodated on the Rail Link coach between Cairnryan and Ayr. However officially registered guide, hearing or assistance dogs will be able to travel on the coach with their owners free of charge.

Picking up a sail & rail ticket from Belfast, Dublin or Rosslare ports?

If your journey is starting from Belfast, Dublin or Rosslare Ports and you need to pick up your rail ticket before departure. Then please call us on 08445 762 762 to make your booking by phone. Unfortunately it is not possible to pick up a ticket at these ports if you book it on The Trainline. Or any other third party website or vendor.

If you are travelling from a rail station in Great Britain to Ireland, then you can book online.

Please note that our Sail Rail Timetable to and from Britain operates as one daily departure in each direction for most of the year. With two additional departures in July and August (see below for further details.)

Sail & Rail tickets are only valid on the services shown above.

Tickets can be purchased at any time online or via telephone. For Belfast departures within 7 days please call us on 08445 762 762 to arrange your Sail & Rail ticket collection from the Stena Line ticket desk, Belfast, prior to check-in.

Your Rail and Sail tickets will be issued by thetrainline, for ticketing queries please call them direct on 00 44 8712 441 545 (calls cost 13p per minute plus your phone company’s access charge. Calls from outside the UK may cost more)

Please note: To book a Rail and Sail ticket that includes entry to the Stena Plus lounge and/or cabins, you must call 00 44 8445 762 762 to make your booking as it is not possible to book these onboard extras online with your rail ticket. (calls cost 7p per minute plus your phone company’s access charge).
